The Case of the Uncommon Cold, Part 2 of 2

Title: The Case of the Uncommon Cold, Part 2 [END]
Author: Fakinbrilliance (aka wickedmuffin)
Word count: ~8,000
Rating: PG13
Pairing: Sherlock/John
Description: John has the Flu. Sherlock is one of his most persistent symptoms.
Disclaimers: I own neither of these boys, though I wish I could snuggle them both.
Author's note: This is my first Sherlock fic, and somehow it grew from a tiny idea into a 16,000 word monster. Clearly, I am a little too wordy. Comments and criticism are greatly appreciated! ♥ Thanks for reading.

Absolutely wonderful.

This was so wonderful. I read the entire thing last night and it made me so happy. I loved the slow progression of it, the realistic absolute shit that one feels when one is sick (I could so empathize with John with that). So awesome. ♥

Thanks for reading and commenting! I'm glad you enjoyed it. And I was totally sick when I started writing this, so John was pretty much feeling exactly how I felt. Write what you know, right? ;)

I wanted to write a coherent comment, and quote the parts I like best, but in the end it would be probably a loooong essay so I just want to say that I love this story, and will surely re-read it more than once :D

Just wanted to comment, saying I loved this. Thank you thank you fro writing this. These were my favorite lines:
"...some kind of mad social experiment on cockblocking."

"[John] knew Sherlock was a supremely capable musician, but using a severed limb to beat out the basic cadence of Bad Romance on John’s dresser was going a little too far."

"...the liquid darkness of sleep..."

The detective sighed, his breath ghosting over the bare skin of John’s nape in a warm gust. “Be sensible, John. How could I possibly still be asleep after you so thoughtfully dug your elbow into my diaphragm? Besides, I woke up a few minutes ago when you stopped breathing.”

Thanks! Glad you liked it :) Frankenstein is the best undead monster, and if anyone is capable of making another, my money is definitely on Sherlock ;)
